Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis nyamuk vector filariasis dan penentuan kepaslian perarmya sebagai vektor di daerah endemic filariasis di kenagarian Mungo yaitu didesa Koto Bakuruang dan Desa lndobaleh, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kola dari bulan dari bnlan Mei sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2008. Nyamuk ditangkap dengan perangkap cahaya (Ligt Trap) sebanyak 10 kali penarigkapan dengan rentang waktu sekali da/am 15 hari. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan 5 jenis nyamuk yaitu: Anopheles nigerrimus, Armigeres sp, Culex tritaeniorhynchus, Culex bitaeniorhynchus dan Mansonia uniformis dengan kelimpahan nisbi masing-masingnya adalah : Cit, tritaeniorhyncus 70.46%; Cu. bitaeniorhyncus 18,13%; An.nigerimus 7,66%; Armigeres spp 2,43% dan Mansonia uniformis 1,5%. Dari pembedahan nyamuk tidak didapatkan adanya larva cacing dalam nyamuk, maka kepaslian nyamuk yang berperan sebagai vektor belum didapatkan.
