Abstract
Analisis sperma dipakai untuk diagnosis evaluasi pre/post terapi medikal maupun surgical infertilitas pria. Analisis sperma dipakai juga di laboratorium forensik guna penanggulangan kasus perkosaan, kasus penolakan orangtua terhadap bayinya, dan untuk menyaring pengaruh bahan racun/obat yang toksik pada organ reproduktif. Saat ini, banyak diminta pemeriksaan DNA untuk penanggulangan perkosaan. Dengan demikian, pada masa mendatang diramalkan permintaan analisis sperma akan meningkat.
